Hello everyone, I am a new user, so I apologize if the question has already been dealt with. I searched the thread, but couldn't find a guide. I have a 60hz lcd. With the windows default settings I have eyestrain. I have verified that Windows reads 59.94hz. I have set CRU resolution standard lcd to 61hz and now the lcd is perfect. Could that be the problem? Is the 61hz value entered correct? Or is there a precise time to enter to get exact 60hz? If I put 60hz in CRU I have the same problem. Thanks to those who want to answer and especially ToastyX for the spectacular software.

hi all, i have a DP KVM 2x1 pro and a 144hz DP monitor and ASUS Mini PC PN51 running amd 5500u. If i use direct DP connection, the monitor works well. But if I connect through the KVM, the monitor flickers forever. I've tried to use CRU and lower the settings to 100 or 120, but can't get it to work with the KVM as well. Any advice on the settings that I should look out for? Thanks.

DisplayPort runs at fixed bit rates, so the refresh rate would need to be low enough to shift to a lower bit rate. If 144 Hz uses HBR3, going below 357 MHz pixel clock would shift down to HBR2. Keep in mind the color depth as well because 10 bpc would use more bandwidth than 8 bpc. |

ToastyX, thank you so much for your time. You were right. I set the "full" setting in the video Nvidia control panel in the color section and now the display is perfect. Hello, I have a question that will hopefully ease my anxiety. Say I were to use the CRU application to modify the already present Windows 10 resolutions, and then I were to delete the CRU application. How can I reset all resolutions back to default (as shipped with the device) without the CRU application, and is this even possible? Thanks, and have a great day!

Thanks, and have a great day!Uninstalling the monitor in Device Manager and rebooting will reset the monitor back to default. Using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) also resets all monitors. |

Hi
I have a laptop with built-in HDR display but having trouble getting it to work in some games. HDR video is working, Auto HDR is working in some games (but doesnt look great... rather use SDR than bad HDR) but native HDR games I tested do not let me enable it, they think the display does not support it. I have seen some other having this problem but no solution. Im wondering if maybe you have some ideas what's causing this problem and/or maybe if CRU can be used to get the display to be recognised as HDR by the games somehow. |
