RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I set a higher refresh with "exact reduced", because with "native" and "exact" I had unsupported frequency. With "reduced", is there any downside to the other options, like the video card is slower or the monitor is slower? Or there is deterioration in the graphics? Because it seems to go perfectly and quickly. Thanks for any reply.

The timing parameters don't affect the image quality. Monitors refresh from top to bottom, and the refresh cycle always takes 1000/Hz milliseconds. Technically a smaller vertical blanking period would mean the visible part of the refresh takes slightly longer to reach the bottom of the screen, but we're talking less than a millisecond difference. |

I have not checked if a height under 1080 works with a width under 1280.Then your monitor doesn't support the resolution. Use GPU scaling. RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Does that LG CX 48 Gbps EDID hack mean that the CX actually supports 48 Gbps? Is there any way to confirm?
Also, is it sufficient just to change the Maximum FRL rate to 48 Gbps under HDMI 2.1 Support, or do we need to do something else? |

I was just curious what else was changed in that EDID file you provided. |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I have an LG C1 hooked up to a 3080 Ti, and I'm trying to use CRU to remove all resolutions except 2560x1440 @ 120hz and 3840x2160 @ 120hz.
So far what I've done is deleted all the 'TV resolutions' except the 3840x2160 120hz one listed in the extension blocks, as well as deleted the few 30hz and below ones from the 'HDMI support' blocks. This works to remove everything unwanted except 3840x2160 @ 60hz. I tried removing the 3840x2160 @ 60hz one from the 'detailed resolutions' box, which does work, but then NVCP lists 2560x1440 as the 'native' resolution. It doesn't seem to harm anything that way but I'd rather it 'knew' that 4k was the native res. Then I tried deleting the 3840x2160 @ 120hz resolution from the 'TV resolutions' block, then modifying the 3840x2160 @ 60hz 'detailed resolution' but it won't let me set anything past 60hz for some reason - the boxes just turn red and I can't click 'OK.' Can anyone help me out and tell me how I should be going about this? Thanks very much! edit: OK, I realize now the main issue is that CRU doesn't let you edit the 'native' resolution in the 'detailed resolutions' box past 655.35mhz pixel clock - so I guess unless there's a workaround for that, I'd have to deal with 2560x1440 listed as native to truly eliminate the 60hz option.. |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I am curious, I downloaded CRU to use with my LGC1 OLED and it’s not recognizing 120hz, even though it’s set up
Correctly on the tv AND in windows. Anybody have this issue? |

What GPU do you have? I have a 3090. It won’t allow me to Set a custom resolution (above 2560x1440p) above 60hz. Nvidia control panel does though. |
