That has nothing to do with stretching anyway. Scaling is controlled by the monitor if you're using display scaling or the GPU if you're using GPU scaling. If you have a 1920x1080 monitor, how would you display 1439x1079 without stretching and without black bars? If you center it without stretching, there has to be black bars.

Yeah so the case is... making blackbars would make game not stretched, but what i want is to make game stretched yet to have uneven number of pixels in width (since height is not a problem i will be just 1pixel short since its 1079) I was just mistaken about "Exact reduced" i thought it needs to be set on like some kind of mode. Thank you for clarifing it to me i think i will find the solution myself Big Grin.

Nothing offers that kind of scaling, but you can use both display scaling and GPU scaling to do what you want. Make the first detailed resolution 1919x1079 to make it the native resolution and set the monitor to display it 1:1. Then add 1439x1079 and use GPU scaling to stretch it to 1919x1079. The problem is that would still stretch the crosshair horizontally. You can't scale just the game and not the crosshair with custom resolutions because the crosshair is part of the video output.

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I used cru to delete a few resolutions and now I've lost hdmi audio from nvidia. I tried to reset in and out of safe mode but no audio. Anyone can help? Thx?

Running reset-all.exe and rebooting should have reset everything. Is there no HDMI audio device? What does it show in the NVIDIA control panel and the Windows sound settings? Make sure the audio is set to the correct device and not muted. If all else fails, reinstalling NVIDIA's driver should fix it.

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hi Toasty.

Good news, the S95D tv with a one connect box can have the edid modified with an AMD GPU or iGPU, I removed the 4096*2160 resolutions easily.
The bad news is VSR cannot be enabled (yet), I tried the samsung/nvidia tweaks with non OCB displays but no success.
I can create some custom resolutions but I notice the Pixel clock rate value already shows a warning sign, and If I try to go a bit above the max, I start getting visual glitches.
I'm guessing there is a hard limit to the pixel clock rate of the One connect box which completely blocks any possibility of tricking it for Downsampling :/

Edit : It seems even that samsung tvs without one connect box have VSR toggleable from the get go, so yeah probably hard limitation on the OCB, DSC isn't even the issue.

RE: 3840x1620 ultrawide resolution
Hi, I would like to ask how to best set the 3840x1620 ultrawide resolution on a 3840x2160 monitor with CRU. GPU: RTX 3080.

However:
1) When I set 1620 instead of 2160, what should I insert from Front Port to Sync Polarity? I imagine they are different from 2160.

2) Do I have to insert it in Detailed Resolution?

3) To make it a native resolution do I have to move it above 3840x2160?

4) Do I also have to modify Extension Block?

5) Is there something I should touch or not touch to not lose full HDR compatibility (a bit related to question 4)?

6) I would also like to set 1920x810, here too what should I set from Front Port to Sync Polarity?

7) If I wanted to set these two resolutions to 30hz, would I just need to set 30 instead of 60 when I create them?

8) In the nvidia control panel, should I set Integer Scaling or what other setting?

Thanks.

Use the timing options to help fill in the values.

Yes.

The first detailed resolution is considered the native resolution.

No.

Just don't delete any of the HDMI or HDR data blocks.

Whatever you want.
