RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Don't do this! I just tried it and about fried my laptop screen. (Maybe it wasn't going to, but it couldn't have been safe). The moment I tried using 75hz on my 60hz monitor, my screen stop displaying correctly. (I set up a custom resolution with automatic mode turned on apart from the main resolution, 1920 x 1080, and going from 60 to 75 hertz). It was black in the beginning, but then random lines and colors started appearing. I wasn't able to do anything, so I let windows switch back and my display flickered pretty badly until I restarted my laptop. I use an Acer Aspire 5 with an 11th gen cpu, SSD, 20gb ram 1667hz, etc. I would show a picture, but I don't know about putting my screen at risk again.

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hi, i really hope we can "downclock" the internal displays on intel based PC handhelds like the gpd win 3 using this software, it would benefit such devices greatly if we can run the display at 40hz a good middle ground since we can't really hit 60 on most new AAA releases on those handhelds and capping the frame rate at 30 on a 60hz display is very choppy, but capping at 40 fps on a display running at 40hz would make for a much much better experience !

Hello all, does changing the default settings to PC automatic ( also means LCD Standard, and so CVT-RB ) has a visual impact ? Like eyestrain or colors off ? Thanks

The timing parameters themselves don't affect the visible image, but some TVs might display CVT-RB (PC) and CTA-861 (TV) resolutions differently, such as full vs. limited range RGB or overscan.

3DTV Play projector (geforce)

For "3DTV Play" it only uses "TV resolution"...
Whether "Detailed resolutions" or "CAT-861" which always works well in 2D as soon as I switch to 3D it takes "TV resolution"
Is there a way to change them ?!

3DTV Play only supports 1280x720 @ 60 Hz and 1920x1080 @ 24 Hz.

Yes my problem is 23.976 and 24 Hz....
By setting the frequency to 23 hz or 24 hz (in Windows) when it goes to 3D it goes all alone to 23.976 hz (when film 23.976) or 24 hz (when film has 24 hz).

Only the resolution 1920*1080 @ 24Hz in "TV resolution" the problem and that I have a frame every 40 min which zaps ...

In 2D I have no lost frames (MPC HC/MADVR: no frame drops/repeats expected)

Is there a way to change the timings in "TV resolution"?
This one works very well in 2D
[Image: CRU2.png]
It's 3 timing are ok in 2D :
638 / 44 / 160 = 842 / 1920 = 2762 / +
4 / 5 / 40 = 49 / 1080 = 1129 / +
74.77 mhz

638 / 44 / 192 = 874 / 1920 = 2794 / +
4 / 5 / 42 / = 51 / 1080 = 1131 / +
75.77 mhz

638 / 44 / 148 = 830 / 1920 = 2750 / +
4 / 5 / 24 = 33 1080 = 1113 / +
73.39 mhz

TV resolution 3D 40min drop :
(madVR CTA CTA timing parametrers for digital TVs)
638 / 44 / 148 = 830 / 1920 = 2750 / +
4 / 5 / 36 = 45 / 1080 = 1125 / +
74.18 mhz

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hello Lads, I'm new here and i've been trying to squeeze a little more performance out of my monitor. My Screen's an Acer XR341CK (the freesync model) and I just cant get it's refresh rate above the stock 75Hz without frame skipping. Is there any way to get this to work or is my monitor just a lost cause?
