You'll have to write batch files to run the appropriate .exe file and restart64.exe, but you'll have to switch game mode on the TV manually. |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I have a 4090FE and an LG C9 connected via HDMI2.1. I use CRU to remove those pesky 17:9 (4096x2160) resolutions and it works great. However after doing so I loose many of my sections from my NV control panel / app.
The only way I have found to rectify this is to use DDU and re-install drivers. Installing new drivers on top via the NV app does not resolve the issue, meaning the 17:9 resolutions come back. Any suggestions? |

Nvidia remembers GSYNC settings when I reinstall the game mode EDID as well. Thanks for your help! |

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
Hello. I have an AORUS FO27Q3 monitor connected via display port and an RTX 4080 video card. The problem is that the monitor works at 59.951 and I can’t get it to work at 60.000. 60.000 is very important to me. I set Custom Resolution Utility (CRU) to 60.000 and the monitor continues to work at 59.951. In the Nvidia panel, the Create your own resolution button is not active. Please help!

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I bought the plugable adapter & still no 60hz 3840x2160 & the driver is acting funny, with active signal 4096x2160 only reporting interlaced beyond 30hz & defaulting to 1440p60 when setting it to 60hz *
By the way on the same display, I get 3840x2160@60p on rx 5600 xt no issues with the same HDMI 2.0 cable. Thanks *Update* Had to set custom resolution in amd radeon settings, done & done. CRU is missing "Timing Display" was set to 4096x2160, is why it had an active signal of 4096x2160, so had to dial it back to 3840x2160 "Timing Display" in Radeon Settings. @ToastyX Need to add the "Timing Display" feature to CRU. Unless, it's hidden somewhere else? |

CRU only deals with active resolutions. CRU does not create scaled resolutions. The Windows display settings will try to avoid changing the active resolution by scaling lower resolutions to the current active resolution, so if the resolution was set to 4096x2160 and you change the resolution to 3840x2160, it will scale 3840x2160 to 4096x2160 instead of changing the active resolution. To avoid this, you need to set the resolution in the advanced display settings > display adapter properties > list all modes. You shouldn't need to add a custom resolution. The TV should already define 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz if it's supported, so it should already be listed in CRU. If adding 3840x2160 @ 60 Hz as a custom resolution through Radeon Settings works, then AMD's driver is not working correctly because you shouldn't have to do that. I don't know if AMD broke something at some point because I know this used to work correctly. Do not use the patcher with DisplayPort. Does the same thing happen with the Insignia adapter? |

Please report this issue to NVIDIA. 5000-series GPUs have a higher single-head limit. The only way around this would involve losing 360 Hz. |

Oh okay, it didn't work the same as Radeon Settings Timing Display. |
