Is there an easier way to reset how my PC uses the TV?
Running reset-all.exe and rebooting removes all EDID overrides and resets the Windows screen resolution settings.

If CRU doesn't show a * or ** in the monitor list, then there are no EDID overrides left. CRU doesn't change anything else.

I gave it a shot, thank you!

I don't have your monitor, so I don't know what it can do. 1360x768 @ 75 Hz doesn't hit any bandwidth limits, so either the monitor can't handle 75 Hz, or it can't handle the timing parameters you used.

i think my monitor can get 75hz. because i tried chose 1024x768@75hz in CRU(standard resolution), then restart, and i got 1024x768 with 75hz ( i am sure, i turn on v-sync in game and my max fps is 75, before it is 60), it is not opaque but i have 2 blackbar in screen. i think if CRU software have resolution 1360x768 in "standard resolution", i will get 1360x768@75hz.
thank you!

p/s: i hope next version CRU will support 1360x768 resolution Sad

CRU supports 1360x768 using detailed resolutions. It's not possible to add 1360x768 as a standard resolution, and you shouldn't add higher refresh rates at the native resolution as standard resolutions anyway.

Have you tried the LCD standard, LCD reduced, and CRT standard timing options? Have you tried adding a detailed resolution and just changing the refresh rate? If none of those work, then the monitor might not be able to handle 1360x768 @ 75 Hz.

i tried adding 1360x768@75hz in detail resolution, then restart, so i can chose between 60hz and 75hz in advance setting. but when i chose 75hz, my screen is out of range monitor. Now, i understand: my monitor cannot handle 1360x768@75hz. i should buy new monitor to replace my old monitor. thank for your help. Smile cool man.

Hello ToastyX!
Any news for the 59HZ problem on the ATi/AMD drivers?

Thank you Smile

RE: Custom Resolution Utility (CRU)
I think I've found something that might need your attention if it can be fixed. In the last few Nvidia drivers there has been the option to choose between 8bit and 10bit (12bpc). My 50 inch LG plasma can do 10bit but as I've installed these recent drivers I only had the 8 bit option (8bpc) after I restore my CRU profile etc and reboot.

I've just stumbled on something new as I installed the latest NVIDIA Driver 353.06 (and 353.12 hotfix driver). Before I got around to reloading my usual CRU profile and hdmi-audio etc. I noticed my NV panle was showing both 8bit and 10 bit (12bpc) options. But after I 'ok'ed and rebooted after CRU it was gone.

So I reset-all using your exe and rebooted and sure enough the 12pbc option was back again and could be set. I could then actualy see the 10bit when using the 10bit option via MadVR renderer.

Is there a way you could look into this with regards to these new recent NV drivers that allow 10bit output. It says 12bpc in the NV control panel.

I've retested this a few times and for me at least when I run my usual CRU set up when installing a new driver, it wipes the option to have 12bpc in the NV control panel.

CRU 1.2 already has support for this with custom extension block editing. Edit the HDMI support data block and enable the 30-bit and 36-bit deep color options.
