ToastyX, when are you going to update the patcher for the new Nvidia drivers? I have Windows 7 and have not tried the existing patch, but figured I would have to remove it if downloaded. Anyway, keep up the good work as you always have.

I don't have SLI, so you'll have to try it and let us know if it works.

What doesn't work? Dual-link DVI? Single-link DVI? HDMI? SLI?

The 970/980 shouldn't need the patch with dual-link DVI when adding custom resolutions using the NVIDIA control panel.

The current patcher should work. I don't know about SLI because I don't have SLI. I don't see any other SLI limits in the new driver, so maybe they removed the other ones. I need more feedback about SLI. If I were to update the patcher right now, I would just remove the "SLI limit 2" line without any other changes, which wouldn't make a difference.

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
I have two 970's coming in next week. I'll let you know if it doesn't work with SLI with my QNIX QX2710 monitor at 120Hz, if no one else chimes in.

Sorry I should have been more clear. The Dual DVI patch doesn't work, at least that's the only one I've tested (if I apply the patch, restart, open the patch file again, it still finds the limits).

I think I need the patch to add custom resolutions with CRU, that's how I do it (doing them only in nvidia control panel doesn't let me force 120Hz VSync on games that don't support it). Without the patch it never works.

Thanks!

That sounds more like an issue with something interfering with the patcher, like an antivirus program running it in a sandbox, or something reinstalling the original driver. The patch shouldn't revert by itself, and it should tell you if it fails.

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
I installed my two ASUS 970s in SLI. I have windows 8.1 64bit and am using the NVIDIA 344.16 driver. I did the full patcher and got to 120Hz with no problems on my QX2710 monitor.

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
I don't know why but SLI with my 760s doesn't work. It intermediately locks up my computer when I try to activate SLI with patch installed, had to revert to previous nvidia drivers and all is working again.
