When i hit test, the picture flickers for a second and it says the test was sucessfull, but nothing happens. I got a Geforce GTX 650.How do you know nothing happens? Is the refresh rate not actually changing? I'm not aware of any limitations with the GTX 650 if you're using HDMI. In fact, you shouldn't even need the patch with HDMI. Try using CRU, and import the hdmi-audio.dat file to include HDMI support with audio. (03-17-2015 07:38 PM)Schnoinsch Wrote: And i really can´t take that lines in every movie, game etc. any more.. RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
hey guys! I'm having an issue where when I'm playing games or testing frameskip, it gets capped at 80-83hz/fps. I'm running a triple monitor setup with 3 different refresh rates. On my first initial setup, I did a clean driver install (on 347.88) and used the full patcher because I have two 970s. It was working fine at first, until I shut down my computer. Turned it on this morning and noticed my frame rates were all capped at 80fps. Tried forcing certain programs to run on the highest refresh rates, but no luck.

The frame skipping test relies on vsync to work properly, but this shouldn't affect games if you're not using vsync. You shouldn't need the patch with the GTX 970 if you're using the NVIDIA control panel to add custom resolutions. If you're using CRU, you only need the regular patch. You shouldn't need the full patch for SLI with the GTX 970. |

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Hi. I used to use an FE1250+ monitor from NEC manufactured back in 2001. I ran it on 1280x1024 @ 102Hz, and I applied the pixel clock patcher due to the fact I was using a single link DVI cable. I bought an XL2730Z, and now I can't get to 144Hz. I thought this patch could have been the issue. I've tried many, MANY things and I can assure you it's not my cabling that is wrong. Refer to: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2...#15625561.
So, I had installed the patcher for the single-link bottleneck for my old monitor. I think this may be the issue that my monitor is experiencing because it can't run at 144Hz like it was designed to. No option comes up in Nvidia CP or Windows regarding 144Hz. It's just 60Hz and 59Hz. My question is, how do I remove this patch from my system? I've also fully removed all features from CRU, and I'm glad ToastyX made such a great application for us to use because my laptop monitor went from 60Hz to 100Hz. Don't be confused though, my issue deals with my desktop and my desktop monitor. |

That monitor doesn't even have DVI. Even if you're using adapters, it's still just a VGA signal, so I don't know why you need the patch. Refer to: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2...#15625561.It's definitely the cable that's wrong. 2560x1440 @ 144 Hz will only work out of the box with DisplayPort. 2560x1440 @ 120+ Hz is not going to work out of the box with DVI because of the 330 MHz pixel clock limit. That's why the patch exists in the first place. 2560x1440 @ 120 Hz might be possible with a custom resolution if the monitor will accept it over DVI. I don't know if your video card can handle 2560x1440 @ 144 Hz with DVI, but it might be possible by reducing the timing parameters. RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Nvidia driver updated. 350.12
Running the patcher states that the limit for Single Link DVI /HDMI is not found. I lost my monitor OC setup. Back to 66hz |

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
I overclocked my 60hz monitor to 75hz running from laptop via HDMI. In game i see an improvment and also vsync goes to 75 now. Is HDMI ok for 1920x1080 @75hz?? do i need the pixel clock patch?

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
ToastyX will you be looking into updating the patcher for 350.12?

Dual Link DVI still works though. |

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Try this: https://www.monitortests.com/nvlddmkm-patcher-1.3.2.zip
The SL-DVI/HDMI limit only affects single-link DVI ports and HDMI ports in DVI mode. You shouldn't need the patch with HDMI if you add or import HDMI support in the extension block, but some monitors may behave differently with an HDMI signal. |
