RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
I just installed the new nvidia 331.58 drivers and applied the 1.2.3 patch, o/c'd the monitor to 110hz, restarted my pc, and it works fine now, no freezing.

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Maybe a dumb question: firstly i thought that this patch allowed to reduce pixel flickering in inversion tests at lagom.nl. But after reading 10 pages it seems people are using it to add custom resolution/refresh rates to their monitors. So, it is basically for custom res/ref.rates ?? What are negative consequences for LCD as a result of using such OC ?

What are negative consequences for LCD as a result of using such OC ?The patch modifies driver limits to allow higher resolutions and refresh rates to work with DVI and HDMI. I haven't heard of any negative effects, but keep in mind many monitors can't overclock more than 70-80 Hz, and some monitors skip frames at anything other than 60 Hz. The patch was originally intended to allow the Catleap 2B monitors to run at 2560x1440 @ 100+ Hz, but it has become useful for other monitors as well. Right now, many people are using it with the QNIX QX2710, which can also handle 2560x1440 @ 100+ Hz. |

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
So I haven't updated to these latest drivers, but people are complaining that it doesn't work with Catleaps.
Any word? |

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
The problem with the Korean monitors was fixed in 326.80. I haven't heard of any problems with the Catleaps in the newer drivers.

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
So I installed the new NVIDIA driver that came out (331.65) and when I tried using the Pixel Patch tool, the SLI limits couldn't be found and it messes up my overclock (using a GTX 690). Any way to fix that?

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Are you using the latest patcher? That should have been fixed in 1.2.3.

RE: NVIDIA Pixel Clock Patcher
Mm, but I saw new posts on Guru3D / OCN about people with Catleaps, even with this latest versiom, having it not work.
So I just wanted to try and get a definite Yes / No on if it works. |
